|
|
Last week , I went shopping at a local electronic store and I usually stop in the computer dept to look at video cards and their prices.
Well, while looking at different specs for each card, I came across the GTX 295 and noticed that the original cost for the card was going for $600.
It was on sale though. They have 2 of them in stock for $399.99.
So I ended up buying both of them and installed them on my computer.
Before using these cards, I was getting an average of 9-15 FPS.
With these video cards installed, I am now getting almost 600 FPS
("not with max settings").
My TF2 game play has increased dearly. Its amazing what a very nice video card can do to help someones gaming performance.
Then I decided to set all my video settings to max and I get about an average of 300 FPS. Its hard to see a difference between 300 and 600 FPS. _________________

I STILL need to upgrade my computer. Still putting money back for my summer trip though. _________________ "Bread has been proven to be addictive. Subjects deprived of bread and given only water to eat begged for bread after as little as two days." |

I would just settle for an HD 4770 if I had the money. All I ever needed is decent enough FPS during huge fights and I'm all set. Not a big gamer anyways! _________________ Under construction. |
